Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah hailed on Saturday the Asian tour of Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. 

Crown Prince Mohammed had attended the G20 summit in Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Thailand and visited South Korea.

Prince Faisal said the tour reflects Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 that underscores cooperation with all friendly and fraternal countries with the aim of achieving goals and ambitions that bolster prosperity and growth in nations. 

Crown Prince Mohammed’s participation at the G20 summit is an extension of Saudi Arabia’s pioneering role in helping unite international efforts to combat global challenges, he went on to say. 

He highlighted the Kingdom’s 50-million-dollar support to the financial intermediation fund for health security, called the Pandemic Fund. 

The FM underlined Crown Prince Mohammed’s remarks at the APEC summit during which he expressed the Kingdom’s keenness on bolstering cooperation and join work in service of international peace and security and prosperity of the peoples of the region. 

Crown Prince Mohammed’s visit to Indonesia, South Korea and Thailand and his fruitful talks there express the keenness of Saudi Arabia and fraternal countries in bolstering bilateral cooperation in all fields and tackling challenges facing the world, stressed Prince Faisal. 

Crown Prince Mohammed was keen during his tour on intensifying cooperation with all parties, offering effective initiatives and solutions to protect mankind and the planet from climate change, he added.

Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz inspected on Friday the operations at the Grand Mosque Security Operations Center.

He conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the security forces involved in the Umrah mission during the holy month of Ramadan.

He conveyed their appreciation for the great efforts they have exerted to maintain the security and safety of the visitors to the Grand Mosque.

During the inspection, Prince Abdulaziz listened to a briefing from the Director-general of Public Security, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami about the positive results achieved through the security plans previously implemented to serve pilgrims during this year's Umrah season, reviewing the efforts of the security forces involved in the Umrah mission.

Prince Abdulaziz reviewed the latest technologies used in organizing movement through advanced data analysis using artificial intelligence, which has contributed to ensuring the smooth movement of Umrah performers and worshippers at the Grand Mosque.

He commended the efforts of the security personnel during the implementation stages of the security plans for Umrah, directing them to continue their efforts.

Several senior officials and high-ranking officers from the Interior Ministry and other agencies accompanied the minister during his visit.
